Finally!!!

Ok so it's official! We are finally pregnant. I am about 8 weeks along now. We found out just before 4 weeks and I have been horribly sick pretty much since. We had our first ultrasound at 6 weeks. Everything is so far so good. The baby is in the uterus, we were a little concerned about a tubal pregnancy because of the surgery I had in September. The baby also has a very strong heartbeat, and thankfully only 1 baby!!!
I've had some pretty rough times so far, incredible sickness that just won't let up. The doctor gave me a few medications to try and help. Unfortunately one of them landed me in the ER, I am apparently now allergic to Scopolamine- anti-nausea patch. I ended up in the ER once more with a pretty bad blockage that I am still working to get over.
Hopefully things will start to look up, I am almost out of my first Trimester... so keep your fingers crossed! We head to the doctor again on Thursday where we will have another ultrasound. Will post pics afterwards and hopefully will have some better updates!

Update!

So here's a short update. So far everything has been good. I've had no complications since my surgery. I did go back on birth control just so we wouldn't have any complications after the surgery. I go in on the 30th to have my final check up, basically just an exam to make sure that none of the pre-cancerous cells have returned. My doc doesn't see why I should have any problems and this is just a precaution. So after I get a good clean bill of health, we are off of the birth control and back to the baby making! I'm so excited! I will update after my appointment to let everyone know if it is yay or nay!!!
